Hydrotherapy North Lakes
Hydrotherapy North Lakes
Water-based physiotherapy at the North Lakes Aquatic Centre, run by our physiotherapist Kisha Henao. Choose one-on-one sessions or small group classes.
Exercise with the water taking some of the load
Hydrotherapy is exercise-based physiotherapy done in a pool. The water supports part of your body weight, so you can work on movement and strength in a way that may feel easier than on land.
Less load on joints
Water supports part of your body weight, so you can move and exercise with less load through painful or recovering joints.
Resistance built in
Moving through water adds gentle resistance, helping you build strength and control.
Planned by a physio
Every session is planned and run by Kisha, one of our physiotherapists, based on your assessment and goals.
Linked to your plan
Pool sessions sit alongside your clinic or home exercises, so progress carries over to everyday life.
One-on-one or group hydrotherapy
One-on-one sessions
A session with Kisha in the pool, built entirely around your injury, surgery or condition.
Small group classes
Group sessions led by Kisha, with exercises adjusted to each person in the group.
